They make us think that for every problem, from air pollution, social gaps and academic achievements, and of course, how not, car accidents, there is a mathematical, technological solution. Artificial intelligence would save us from ourselves. This approach grossly ignores human nature, social structures, cultures, personal and political interests and, in practice, preserves power in the hands of few who control our information, enabling them to reduce and even limit the freedom of choice and the freedom to conceive new ideas.
In practice, computers did not affect education, but not because of "them", but because technology was subdued in favor of an outdated culture that sees the student as someone who has to be "educated" and "tested." Venture capital funds and traditional investors consistently ignore the fact that the adoption limitation of new technology is the old social structure. Without realizing it, we submerge the potential inherent in man. So do Lyft, Uber, Airbnb and, even an autonomous vehicle.
To solve complex social problems, we need to propose a new model in which technology is developed, assimilated and influence. That is what we are here for. That is why we founded Eitan Capital.
Our motto Inspire greatness:
There is an even more ancient profession than that cliché, and of course we are talking about medicine. Patients go to the doctor, each according to his belief, white walls that separate us and them, between our knowledge and others. When a doctor wants to get to patients, he waits for them or advertises on Google or Facebook. Should it be this way? Why, in fact, can’t a digital system of medicine be as enjoyable and interesting as Instagram? How can we make people collaboration for a healthier life without fear?
@=&SHIFT+4Y ?Just as the hotel room can be seen as a stock in a commodity market, so is an apartment for rent, a profile that always exists and not a one-time ad. Why is someone looking for an apartment not the same person who buys a table or looks for the love of his life? Why do we have to choose between a number of bedrooms and streets and not simply accept suggestions based on what really suits our changing needs?
$=@+145% ?We live in a world that has been reduced more and more to be flat and connected, we work in bureaucratic organizations where technologies aim to preserve the status quo and not to change the culture. Why are there so many separate systems for managing knowledge, training, tasks, and more? Why should every organization implement an existing system as if it had just been born? Why can't we make all employees take part and become partners in innovation?
$5=#89*4-9X ?We all want curious students, who will wake up in the middle of the night and look for information, discuss it with experts on their own initiativ, write a summary, share with peers and together reach a product that will change the lives of other. Sounds too good for the most of us? The school as we know it is a start-up in denial. We want to unleash its potential, to turn every student into an entrepreneur, a developer, a writer, an artist. It is possible. We just have to think outside the classroom.
